About project

The overarching objective of the program is to strengthen Russian regional media outlets’ capacity to address acute social problems concerning the violation of human rights (migration, inter-ethnic relations, people living with HIV/AIDS and other vulnerable groups) and to more effectively compete in their respective media markets through the application of innovative multimedia approaches. The project will result in a group of local media holdings that are both better equipped to provide ethical coverage of important social issues and reach a broader audience through the use of new media.
